This is a performance about contemporary human beings lost in a reality of excessive stimuli, information, and the constant need to communicate. Paradoxically, we live in a world in which we speak more and more, yet truly listen to one another less and less. The performance asks whether understanding is possible between people with different experiences, sensitivities, and ways of perceiving the world. Where does the attempt to meet another person end, and where do loneliness, misunderstanding, and the struggle for one’s own voice begin? The starting point was the body: movement, tension, physical contact, and distance. We were interested in the individual functioning within a group: the need for closeness, fear of rejection, desire to be noticed, and at the same time the inability to engage in genuine dialogue.
It is a story about relationships, boundaries, and the continuous process of negotiating one’s own place in relation to others.
The performance is not a closed answer, but an ongoing process—an attempt to explore the human being who constantly remains a “work in progress”.
