Metaforms Festival
The Metaforms International Festival of Puppet Theatre Schools is a biennial artistic event that creates a meeting space for students from puppetry departments and courses, as well as other artistic programmes connected with theatre of form. Since the early 90s, the Festival has remained one of the most important platforms for dialogue, exchange of experience, and presentation of the most interesting developments in puppet theatre.
Who are we?
We bring together artists, researchers, educators, and students — people who see form not only as an artistic tool, but also as a means of exploration, dialogue, and expression.
Our goal is to build bridges between art and academia, promote contemporary forms of puppet theatre, and develop international cooperation in this field.
The project is carried out at the Puppetry Department of the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków — Branch in Wrocław.
