Homeless dolls and other stories

This work-in-progress show consists of sketches and études developed by the students throughout their training. The material gradually evolves over the course of the programme, reflecting their exploration, discoveries, and individual approaches to the methods and challenges proposed by their teachers. The content of the programme emerges from exercises, assignments, and training practices, as well as from the students’ own interpretations and artistic responses to them. Created by the students during their first year of study and now performed by them as 2nd-year students at the National School of Performing Arts: Anna Elīza Jākobsone, Karina Vitnija Kazaka, Mikus Krastiņš, Katrīna Rudzīte, Emma Skirmante, Elizabete Tauriņa, Ričards Vītiņš, Jēkabs Žagata. The programme was developed during puppet and object theatre masterclasses led by Anna Ivanova (France) and Agnès Limbos (Belgium).
