Where do we go when we want to disappear? The site-unspecific physical theatre performance „A little Bit of Every Thing“ explores the connection between suicidal depression and our desire to dance in the rain, talk to the wind, fly with the birds and sleep among the worms. One performer who relies solely on his body, voice and presence. One space that becomes the central playground of imagination. One audio recording that, once started, never stops. Puppetry, dance, acting, music, mime, shadow theatre and narration strive to create a poetry of decay, a song of decomposition, a new, hopeful mythology of death. Performed in- or outdoors, with minimal technical requirements and minimalistic scenography, the show attempts to create beauty from nothingness, as a reminder of the playful capacity of creation embedded within the communion of every single one of us with this living and present world we are inseparably interwoven with. This performance was created as a graduating MA project of Nico Dorigatti at the physical theatre school Accademia Teatro Dimitri.
