The PuppetNet Knowledge Base is expanding!
Take a look at the new materials in our database—we’re publishing a new text by Marek Bieganowski that broadens the context and deepens the understanding of how Sicilian marionettes function, as well as a comprehensive compendium on the actor’s work with puppets and space by Prof. Aleksander Maksymiak.
On our website, we are also publishing materials from “IMPULSES: MAPPING CONTEMPORARY PUPPET THEATRE”, edited by Prof. Mirosław Kocur. The publication originated from the academic conference “LALKA NOVA”, organized at the Puppet Department of the AST in Wrocław. It sheds new light on contemporary puppet theatre and opens up discussions on new possibilities for the use of technology in the arts.
We invite you to visit PuppetNet—more materials will be published soon. 🙂
