Who are we?
A place where new forms are born and different perspectives meet.
Puppet Net was born within the environment of the Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław, out of the need to create a shared platform for people in puppet theatre.
We connect creators, researchers, educators, and students—those who see puppetry not only as an artistic tool but also as a means of knowledge, dialogue, and expression.
Our goal is to build bridges between art and science, promote contemporary forms of puppet theatre, and develop international collaboration in this field.
Project funded by the state budget, granted by the Minister of Science under the Social Responsibility of Science II Program.
Metaforms Festival
The festival aims to showcase and promote the latest trends in puppet theatre and to integrate domestic and international communities—studies, schools, and artistic institutions. The program includes performances, workshops, publications, and discussions, creating a space for both students and experienced creators.
